Based in Richmond Nelson the business has been operating on its current site for many years producing laminated Glulam beams and fingerjointed material. The operation processes custom timber orders and specialises in timber treatment (LOSP – H3.1). The business has developed under Ranex ownership, becoming more focused and producing a range of E Wood laminated and fingerjointed products that includes weatherboard, fascia and posts. The E-Wood product range now includes Nelson Pine LVL , treated and distributed from the Richmond site. E-Wood production is used by Hunterbond, a separate Ranex-owned entity domiciled on the same site specialising in laminated and engineered architectural project work.
E Wood Span Tables
The LVL11 & LVL13 Interactive Span Tables have been developed primarily for domestic applications in accordance with AS/NZS1170 (Building Category IV & V), NZS3603, NZS3604 & AS/NZS4357.
The purpose of these tables is to make it easier for builders, draughtsmen, architects and engineers to come up with a quick and accurate design for LVL components. These cover the most common domestic uses for LVL components – roof beams, rafters, ridges, lintels and floor beams. Input of the required information will give designers and builders the sizes and producer statements for the required items.
